The csv data export and import feature is really strong but I don't see how to bring in products images in bulk when using the Shadows ReadyTheme. The legacy fields for THUMBNAIL_URL and IMAGE_URL have no effect on the product images displayed. Is there a way to do this? Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Tons of products already imported but I'm hoping there's a way to attach the proper images to them in bulk.

Export and Import of product images aren't a function of the ReadyThemes as I recall. You can use the drag and drop features in the product interface or use the Data Management tab from the dashboard for the import and export.
Here are the highlights of what to do:
-Do a product to flat file export and make sure to include the product image type custom field. Example: Main. Include the column headers, you'll see a column with Main in the header. This represents the path to the image.
-make sure you've uploaded all the product images to those exact folders -- probably via FTP.
-if your product template is configured to display the Main image type they should appear as expected.
Note: make sure to have the product image custom field module installed prior (Look in Utils). I don't think it's installed and active by default.

In general, the ReadyThemes do not utilize the legacy THUMBNAIL_URL or IMAGE_URL fields.
When you are importing products via a flat file, you can import your images provided you have created any image types other than the main image. To only import the main image, add the path to your image under the column titled "IMAGE_TYPE:MAIN".
