Mini-Basket Not Updating

Hi, running the latest Shadows theme and latest Miva version. The mini-basket and order summary are not updating tax when a product is removed and a new one added to the cart. For example, if I add a product, go to checkout or login but don't complete the process for an overseas order (we are in Australia), edit the basket and add something else, the tax amount (10% which is included in the price) isn't updated. In the example image, the Tax should be $45- as that is the 10% tax amount. Anyone have any ideas, thanks!

What tax system are you running? Miva's built in?

Yes, European VAT CUSTOM, require tax, products price includes VAT, other basket charges rate not taxed. Not sure what the custom VAT is compared to the standard European VAT.

i'd enter a support ticket then. Tax modules are supposed to clear the "tax" every time they run and then calculate the tax based on the basket products. sounds like its not doing that.

In case anyone else has this issue, apparently it is in the design. Miva support has reported that it does not recalculate on the fly when you're just adding items to the cart on product and category pages... Tax isn't calculated until later in checkout, after you enter you select shipping and payment option.
