Exclude Page(s) from Maintenance Mode MNTN display

Is there a way to exclude a Page (or Pages) from the Maintenance Mode MNTN Page being displayed during Maintenance Mode? I think my problem is due to the page needing to be excluded has just the

<mvt:item name="hdft" param="global_header" />

token in it.

lesliekirk Did you ever find out if there's a way to do this? I'm in a tricky situation right now where we need to prevent shoppers from from being able to purchase from our site but I would like to link shoppers to some of our static pages to give them further information.

Also, does anyone know if there is a way for admin users to override maintenance mode by customer login from the front side? I know I can do this by IP address on the backend, but since I'm needing to frequently check updates on my Maintenance Mode message, and also to check updates I'm performing to the site, I find myself constantly having to add and remove my IP address from the admin. Being able to login to a customer account with "maintenance mode override" privileges from the front end would be a great convenience.

When a store is in Maintenance Mode, the shopping pages are completely disabled. The only override is by IP address entered on an admin page.

There are ways to prevent customers from buying anything while the store is open. For example, you can edit some page templates to remove the Add To Cart button.. Or you remove the Continue button from the first checkout page (OCST). If you want to allow certain customers to still shop, you can also do that with template coding.

If you need a way to turn this "no shopping mode" On and Off with just a few clicks, instead of constantly editing and re-editing the templates, I have a small utility module that can do that. It works in the background; it doesn't require any changes to the shopping pages.
