Order Archive

I have looked in the MIVA docs and the forum and I can not see what order archiving does. Can someone explain what archiving an order does to the order. Is payment info removed? Can the customer still see the order in their history? Is the order moved from the processing order screen?

Archiving will delete payment information and/or shipping labels from orders. The order is not removed from your database and will remain under order processing.

Thanks, this was helpful. I couldn't find that info in the most recent Reference Guide. Seems, like that kind of information should carry over to reference guide updates.
