    Buy with Prime

Has anyone here looked into using Amazons Buy with Prime? https://buywithprime.amazon.com/home

It requires Amazon Pay but this last bit concerns me.

Buy with Prime does not replace your native checkout; it offers an additional way for Prime members to quickly check out. When shoppers click on the Buy with Prime button, they are directed to the Buy with Prime hosted checkout. After the Buy with Prime purchase is complete, shoppers are redirected back to your site.

After shoppers are redirected back to our site how would Miva know that payment has been made? This does not appear to use the native Amazon Pay method.

There's not a direct Miva integration although the do list "Custom Site" which leads me to believe there are code snippets that can be modified to work on any platform.

I think I've answered my own question. An order placed via Buy With Prime is fulfilled by Amazon and processed outside of Miva completely. So no need to pass any data back to Miva.

...and meanwhile, Amazon now knows what your customer has bought and if they also sell it will be promoting that to your customers directly. (AKA, they are no longer your customer :(

That has always been one of several issues with Amazon from the very beginning.

And for that reason we stick with using the native Amazon Pay module. Customers just sign in and go through an Amazon Pay version of OCST, OSEL and OPAY.

FYI: I'm not positive that Amazon pay doesn't do the same thing. Never looked at it that deeply.

Bruce - PhosphorMedia Hmm. Logged into the Amazon Pay account and it looks like they only grab the Order ID and Total. No order contents are listed like they are with PayPal.
