Customize the Admin Landing page

Is it possible to change the items that are listed on the landing page of the admin view. I would like to see a list of quotes just like the orders list.

i would like to get rid of that "resource" arrow floating at the bottom right of the screen.

I'd love to be able to integrate external data too - like being able to have a box with our CRM or Chat would enable our customer service to live in the Miva admin and see all the systems in one dashboard.
