Patd265 rather than using the export orders to flat file can you export the batch edit list from order processing?

If you activate all the on demand columns that you want in the CSV then select all the orders you want and choose the three dots more menu the option to export as a CSV is available. When exported it will have all the columns that you can see in the batch list, which can include the source.

To further the integration you can create an order workflow that will add the order to a queue. You can have a workflow that will check the value of the source then add it to the appropriate queue. Then from the batch edit screen you can use the advanced search to view all the orders in the queue and process them as needed.

Agree a POS for in store sales would be wonderful. We ship products from a remote warehouse location, and also have a physical store. We are using a custom Filemaker solution to manage integration of Miva with the warehouse system, Finale Inventory, via APIs. Working now to integrate our Square POS with the Filemaker database to manage in store sales with a separate product inventory database, which will eventually allow 'buy online for local pickup'. The key issue is that we need to be able to manage a local and a remote inventory, due to the physical distance between the locations.

You might want to check with Andreas to see if he is still offering his app that syncs inventory, orders, products, prices, and a few other things (I think) with the Square Retail Plus POS plan.

Working with him on other stuff now. The Filemaker solution will allow us to avoid paying for the Retail Plus plan, and give us a lot of reporting functionality. I prefer to pay for a solution once and avoid the SaaS monthly fees.

We are also expirimenting with using Miva admin for entering phone and in-store orders. But we also have a fair amount of people that email us to place an order. This is troublesome. Getting payments and marking orders paid through miva is not all that user-friendly. I can create their order in Miva - no problem. But if I want them to enter their cc info, I have to create an account for the customer and then ask them to log in and add a credit card. It's pretty convoluted and not user-friendly for the customer. It's much easier for me to send a payment link through our merchant service provider. However, once I do that, I don't see a way to mark the order in miva as paid. I guess this is a feature request. Would be very handy to be able to create an order in the miva admin and then mark it as paid.

Have you tried using Manage Quotes for sending a payment link?
              Thanks,

I sure haven't. Didn't know that was an option. Thanks, Rick. I'll check it out.
