Does not play well with others

So we installed a tire search Combination Facet flex component on our motorcycle tires category page.

It works but filtered results from the top Tire Search component have no influence on the standard facet filters on the left (or below on mobile).
At minimum, the standard facet filters should get grayed out depending on the results from the combination facet.
