While the Fallback Shipping Method is a good idea, I needed to turn that function off.
The problem with it is that it allows orders to pass through even when shipping methods are restricted. For instance, an item we do not (or are not allowed) ship outside the US would have limited shipping methods activated. i.e only UPS ground or USPS Priority mail etc.
There comes the Australian shopper at checkout and since there are no shipping methods available, the system presents the fallback method and they place the order.
Cancel the order, apologize for the inconvenience etc etc.
