We have upgraded to the new UPS module. I don't see a UPS Ground Saver option yet. Is this not possible yet?

Hi, I guess that's the issue. There should definitely be an option for UPS Ground Saver. This is a shipping option that many retailers are using. It was mentioned in the forums by someone last year as well. We were hoping that this would have been added to the new module.

Our partner rep from UPS told us a month ago it's not fully launched yet, we're waiting on guidance from UPS as to when this will be universally available and if we need to change anything to support it. Do you have different info than this?Comment

Hi Rick,
Yes, UPS Ground Saver has been live since late last year. It's live to everyone. Live on ShipStation as of Oct last year. We've been shipping with it on other sales channels for awhile now. We were hoping the new module would have this at release date.Best Regards,

I'll check with UPS, that conflicts with what we were told last month. We'll update it in a . release after we have clarity/clearance from UPS on it. This particular module was to support there new API and migrate there freight business to T-Force.Comment

Good news (although convoluted). We literally just got off the phone with UPS and we already support UPS Ground Saver. We'll be adding some checkboxes to make visual display more automated but here are the steps.
1. Make sure you talk to your UPS sales rep and have UPS GroundSaver rates as part of your contract.
2. In the UPS Module, once the above is done, those rates supersede the rate that our module will product for UPS SurePost over 1 lb. Make sure that method is turned on and operating in your Miva store.
3. Go into the Shipping Display rules and change the name of UPS SurePost over 1 LB. to UPS Ground Saver.
