Client has items that they want to offer a discount if they by 2 to 4 similar products. I can see several ways of using Price Groups for that, but what's the EASIST one to manage. (~400 items.)

Bruce - PhosphorMedia Price Groups would be the easiest. You could use Collections to create a dynamic list of products and assign it as a qualifying collection to the price group.
