Back onto the POS hunt - Square possibly

As we are ending this year I am trying to get a POS going for the brick shop, hopefully starting Jan 1st.
I installed the Square module and created a new account with Square for the cyclebitz store.
    Now my question.
If I upgrade the Square account to their retail Plus at $89 / month, which seems to be necessary to have access to Square's POS, will I be able to use their POS system to process sales at the counter and integrated with our Miva store?
Or is still wishful thinking at this point?
    Any input appreciated.

We don't have a plug and play Square POS inclusion at this point (we've tried before and always gotten stuck in trying to make our full featured OMS and Catalog Manager work within their API limits.

I can tell you that Andreas from PCINet has a plugin that syncs inventory and orders with Square POS.
      Thanks,

Rick Wilson orders and inventory would sync for us via our 4psite integration with Miva. That is if the order gets uploaded from the Square POS to our Miva store. Would that happen automatically when orders are processed on the Square POS? I guess the only way to get the catalog into the Square POS would be with a CSV upload, which can be a real pain.
4psite also has a Square integration but I believe that is very limited as well.

Our Square payments integration does not push order data into Square. The PCI Net Plugin would also be needed here. We have a few Square customers that use it and it works well.

It sounds like I have to abandon the Square plan again. Too much of round hole square peg ... pun :-)
I don't need to create a system that requires more manual syncing, updating and work-arounds.
The solution is fairly simple though. A plain manual order entry screen that is able to live pull an existing customer, or create a new one and pull catalog items from our store to create a manual order (phone order or counter sale), collect payment and push the order into the Miva store.
Years ago we had such a screen from Viking coders. It was plain vanilla but it worked flawless. A screen like that would instantly turns the entire store into a point of sale without complicated integrations with outside POS systems.
