    “newbie”

I've looked through the forums but haven't really found anything that solves this issue where Miva can't process certain characters. It is quite frustrating. Foreign addresses show up completely mangled like this one -
    Sébastien Lévesque

    and this one
    ¥xÆW ®ç¶é¿¤¤K¼w¥«·ç²»¨½¥Ã©¾µó6«Ñ4-1¸¹
    ¥xÆW ®ç¶é, ¥xÆW ®ç¶é 33448

    and this one
El maño Plaza de la Seo 1

Customer reviews also get mangled -
Music Makers has been incredibly helpful to work with, especially for a harp “newbie” like me! Their patience and willingness to guide us through determining what strings to purchase for restringing a homemade harp that is just a little “outside the box” on its dimensions was invaluable! We couldn’t have done it without Music Makers and their personal approach to customer service. Thank you from the bottom of our harp! 😉 🎼

I suspect I know what is causing this; please shoot me an email as there's an additional issue before it can be corrected.

I've seen similar problems with some of my own clients. David, can you post some info here about the cause and solution? Thanks!

This typically occurs if a store has data stored in a non-UTF8 character set, while the incoming data is UTF8. The correction has to be made on our side, but requires investigation to confirm if there is any risk of the non-UTF8 characters changing to undesired values as a result.
