Color Picker

Where is the color picker for things like text and button colors. I found it for the Background color. The picker is way too confusing with all of it's choices. I thought CMYK was a print mode color? Why is it included? The slider is cute but that plus sign took me a minute to realize that is how I finalize me color choice, KISS it.

I found the text color settings - took me a minute. (FYI I am attempting to go through this like someone who doesn't read the instructions first before trying to assemble the Christmas toy). Still don't like the color picker.
