Layout Sharing

Are there plans that layouts could be saved / shared? As someone who manages a number of sites, it would be great to be able to export a layout and import to another store to use. I could also see a community site where people can upload layouts for others to use to save time when building new sites or managing them. Just curious if this is something that is possible in the future.

I layout in Miva is just a special type of page. So you should be able to use the Framework export/import to save just the pages/layouts you want and it should be able to import them into other stores with all the setting and components.

I'll do some testing to see if there are any gotchas in the process, but this should just work today

Brennan is correct when saving the framework you can select any layout from the Framework Pages to Export section and it will export the layouts.

You can export just the layout then import the .pkg on any store and the layout will be added to the store.

Awesome - thanks! Anyone have any ideas on the community hub of Layouts that could be made available in this format to share publically?
