Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
Trying to export OUI to MM5 framework. Mia 5.06.
Looks like it's failing on Category Headers/Footers.
I can't tell if it's timing out, but I have Mia Timeout at 990. Timeout setting didn't change the behavior.
Thoughts, suggestions?
TIA
Scott

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
Update to export-mmui-layout5.mvc
v1.0002
-Fixed bugs BUG#5761 and BUG#5759 where the external file parsing functions
exhibited the same issues as the OpenUI layout export module, in which they
were replacing templates that did not reference any external files with empty
strings
Original post has the latest zip file and our support suite has been updated with v1.0002 for export-mmui-layout5.mvc.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
GregM,
I created a bug (ID 5757) for development regarding the sort/display order not transferring over from 4.x to 5.x. At this time I have no ETA for this fix and I'll post something when I have an update from development.
Thank you,
Wayne

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
I sure hope we can get the export of the prod / ctgy headers/footers out of the framework and into an xml file soon. I have had a lot of stores that I have had to manually copy this stuff due to the limitations, and it is very time consuming.
Also, how can we migrate the sort order of products and categories? I have had a lot of upset clients who had special sorts, and these did not carry over.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
That's not doable, at least not with these tools. You must import into MMUI using this tool.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
Hoping someone can help me here...
have a 5.5 store in development with CSSUI.
is it possible to export the OUI framework and import only the OUI category headers and footers?
Or is it impoosible to import ANYTHING into a CSSUI store?
and i wouldn't want to overwrite the product / category info that is already in the new store.
Is that doabble?
Thanks

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
**** UPDATE ****
OUI-MMUI Exporter Beta now includes v4.2408 for the export-openui-layout5.mvc.
4.2408
- Corrected false positive in some cases when checking for a file with zero
length
- Removed code that was pulling JavaScript src files, because of tracking code
eval errors
- Corrected an issue where images could sometimes be displayed in the list of
CSS files
Thank you,
Wayne

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
I am getting the same error, except that it "Failed to copy to /mm5/". I don't have any css files listed in the import.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
I get the error message "Failed to apply framework: Failed to copy to /mm5/" when I try to apply the framework in MM5.
The files were exported from Miva 4.23
I've asked Cybrhost, but they don't know how to help
Thanks.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta
I just updated the .zip to include v4.2406 of export-openui-layout5.mvc.
These are the known issues we're seeing regarding the OpenUI export module:
1) Engine versions before 5.03 will always fail, since they do not implement the "tar_create" function, which is required to generate the framework package file (no workaround other than an engine upgrade).
2) Engine versions before 5.07 will intermittently send corrupted email attachments due to an engine bug, however, the valid package file can still be retrieved from the data directory on the server.
3) Module versions 4.2404 and 4.2405 have a bug related to how "../" relative images are parsed out of some page templates, which causes any of these images to fail to be copied and their references are reduced to <img src="">. These versions also suffer from a susceptibility to crash when parsing certain types of broken HTML for image and CSS tags.
