Thanks. I was using 4.2404, the new 4.2405 fixed it.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta

When I try to export the orders, the Miva4 code works, and then I have to remove the <Provision> and <Store> because the import says you should not have them.

But when I try to import the XML in Miva 5, I just get
    Code:
    07/22/2010 20:49:22 2114 Order_Add Unknown tag
    07/22/2010 20:49:22 2209 Order_Add Unknown tag
    07/22/2010 20:49:22 2282 Order_Add Unknown tag
    For every entry....

    What am I doing wrong?

Actually I just found out we didn't increment the one we posted recently. We'll be incrementing it and posting it again shortly.

Make sure you downloaded the updated version, we had a bug related to that initially.

Re: OUI/MMUI Store Framework Exporter Beta

I'm not able to install the Framework package in any store, test or live. It exports fine from the v4 store, but when trying to apply the framework in the 5.5 MMUI store, the last line under "Framework Images" is always the directory the 5.5 store is installed in. Usually /mm5/ but could be /Merchant2/ or /store/ or /whatever/ The v4 store is installed a different directory, so the Framework package has inserted the new store directory on its own for all of the images.

    e.g.

    Framework Images

    /mm5/graphics/00000001/order.gif
    /mm5/graphics/00000001/continue.gif
    /mm5/

If I leave "Overwrite Images" unchecked, it says, "Failed to Apply Framework: 1 images already exist"

If I check "Overwrite Images", it says "Failed to Apply Framework: Failed to copy /mm5/ to /mm5/"

    Bill,

The upgrade5.mv/c tool should export the MMUI portions of these fine instead of using one of these 4 beta tools.

These beta tools from what we have seen are for OUI and for MMUI you can still use the stock upgrade5 that was out prior. Ofcourse you may have to massage the provide.xml that is created.

The catalog expoter uses XML not the framework.

Bill, I'm not sure but i think it does.

Is there any way to edit the Framework file then???

We have a CSSUI store and can't use the framework fiel, but we do need the headers and footers.

any suggestions would be great. Every time we try to open up the framework file in a text editor, it is just garbled.

What about MMUI 4x store; are the category headers and footers in the catalog or framework export?

We'll get back to updating the Catalog Exporter/Importer to add OUI Headers and Footers for Products and Categories, but it'll happen after our next feature release which will be out in a few weeks.

    Wayne,

Right yes the overall headers/footers under store name do come over at this point, but have a few customers that have customized category headers and footers and also have tweaked their product headers/footers per product basis.

    Thanks!

    Eric,

It does transfer over via the framework but not the catalog and I've been told it will be added to the catalog at a later time.
