How to speed up Attribute Template additions

I have a lot of attribute templates and have to update them with many different attributes. Is there a way to speed up this process rather then adding them one at a time? It's going to take hours and hours manually. Even if I could just duplicate one template to others it would be helpful.

How "universal" are the attributes?

Is it something like clothing where the majority of products will have a sizing attribute with only Small, Medium and Large as the options?

because if so, you would use the built in Attribute Templates and have your products use those templates (NOT copy them, but actually use the template), then you would only have to update one template and all the products that use that template would then be automatically updated.

many are different prices and require different attribute templates (bindings) based on that price.

I am not sure if this will do it, but look into Store Man by phosphormedia.com (although if it does work, it might be overkill for your needs - however, it has a lot of different functions and some people swear by it).

You might also benefit by using the www.emporiumplus.com Attrtibute import and export module.

Sorry to bring up an old thread-- does anyone know if there is an attribute template import/export module being sold anywhere today? Sebenza and Emporium Plus both used to offer these and neither has one for sale today.

Dylan, I'm trying to remember - can the attribute template code be included in the Product export or was that a new feature to MM5/MM5.5?
