How to add MP3s for customers to purchase and then download?

My client would like to sell mp3s of radio show he has produced on his Miva Merchant store. How to I set this up, so that the customer, once they've purchased the product, then receives the file?

Its not easy if you want to make sure that only the downloader can listen to the file. That would require Digital Rights Management software which can be expensive. Contact Remik at dotcomhost.com is still interested.

Thanks for the referral Bruce, alas MP3 file format does not support DRM. For offering MP3 downloads through Miva Merchant you just need a softgoods module to handle the sale of downloadable files (MP3 and any other format you may have). If you want to protect files so that they cannot then be shared freely with others, you'd need to switch to a file format that has support for Digital Rights Management - and in that case, yes, absolutely, we have our own DRM systems in place that we can offer you as a service.
