Re: Dydacomp - MOM and PR7

You guys should all coordinate a call in, they emailed me, hymning and hawing about our partnership, we told them how to sign up and what they'd get.

They were supposed to call back in the morning to sign up and that was two weeks ago.
    Thanks,

BTW, it took Shipworks and StoneEdge about an hour or so of work to make their export modules PR7 Compatible.

For the record, I think Andreas at PCI Net has their own MOM module, you might check with them.

Re: Dydacomp - MOM and PR7

I hope nobody minds if I stick my competitive 2 cents in here. If you are ready to try a different experience than dealing with Dydacomp, please give us a call at Stone Edge Technologies. I won't say that we are perfect, and yes, we also require a current support contract to download updated integration scripts. But we have had a close working relationship with Miva for over 8 years now, and merchants who have switched from MOM to Stone Edge are usually glad they have done so. There are over 600 Miva merchants using our system, and once again this year we have more users in the Internet Retailer Top 500 (11) than Dydacomp (7). This is a good time of year for many merchants to make a change, so give us a call if you are interested. Mention the Miva Forum and we'll give you 10% off of the price of the Order Manager. (Offer good thru 7/31/10. Can't be combined with any other offers.)

I'm still having problems with getting Shipworks or Miva to import order status and tracking, so it's halfway there.

That's true for both ShipWorks and StoneEdge and will certainly be true for Dydacomp.

Both ShipWorks and StoneEdge have pledged to add support for the new feature set later this summer. What I was referring to, is they made it so they could still export orders with PR7, which is what DydaComp has yet to even try.
                  Thanks,

Re: Dydacomp - MOM and PR7

Dydacomp has supposedly fixed their PR7 issue, but as seems par for the course we can't get ahold of anyone there to confirm this.

Can anyone confirm they've tested the Dydacomp fix?
                    Thanks,

Been working with their version 5.06 copy of the module. Test connection fails. I was instructed to roll back to version 5.03 but Miva won't let me overwrite with an older file. Got any advice for me?

Go in via FTP and manually Delete the older file.

Does that work? I thought you had to change the db value for that module...this is certainly an easier way though.

I think so, but I could be wrong. I've run into that before where I couldn't upload something older and I delete, and then re-add.

But it's certainly not out of the question that I'm not following procedure :)

                            I'll ask and see.
                            Thanks,

Yes, you have to update the module version in the database. If it's MySQL just look for the Modules table. Mivasql will be mivadata/Merchant5/modules.dbf. Of course you'll need a dbf editor for mivasql.

Nope, this doesn't work. Overwriting it or deleting the old one first, nothing changes the db file version value.
