How does information age and expire in Ultimate Order Status?

    How does information age and expire in Ultimate Order Status?

    I don't see any information in the docs about how orders eventually expire and drop out of the database. There is no configuration item to set a time limit before the orders expire. Does the information stay in the database forever?

    This is a very old question but I have basically the same problem. As the number of orders grow on the Ultimate Order Status Page it gets slower and slower to load. At this point we have 4 years of orders in there so its a problem. Hope someone has the magic solution to this.

      Your only solution is going to be to clear our some or all of the orders in the database or migrate to our built in Order Processing system.

      Do you have any specific features that are preventing you from migrating?

        Yes, I am not sure if the official MIVA version of order processing integrates into Shipworks? With the Sebenza version, when orders are filled via Shipworks, the orders in MIVA in the Sebenza tracking are updated with the tracking numbers and the status of being shipped. This is very important to us.

          Yes the built in Order Processing system syncs orders with shipworks and allows you to push back up tracking numbers as well.

                  Once you've made the required template changes you will need to change settings in shipworks to Miva Order status.

                  By required template changes I mean if you never set it up in an old store. Of course if you are starting with new store they are done for you already and you just need to make that change in shipworks.
