Mailchimp is great, but we were frustrated by the disappearing api key from the previous release and about to disable the module.
Yea! Happy to see there is now a new version with the bug fix.
Do you have an example of what is not working? I just tested your signup form in IE9 and I was able to subscribe and unsubscribe.
Interesting it still doesn't work for me. It's just the form in the footer when signing up it does not give the you've been subscribed message however you do get the message if you unsubscribe.
I am having a problem with Mailchimp and Internet Explorer 9. Other browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) work fine. When I try to subscribe using the textbox the whole box just disappears. Here is a link, to see what I mean: http://www.americancoffeeservices.com/ . Anyone else having this problem?
I have installed and provisioned MailChimp successfully on our site. I would like to change the default behavior of the Mailchimp Check Box so that it is "Checked" or "Opted In" as the default, so that customers need to "Opt Out" by deselecting the checkbox. I see where the java script is editable within the advanced options screen of the Mailchimp utility but I'm not sure about where I would make that change.
While it is possible, since it needs the email address to be filled in before it can be submitted, some of the JavaScript would need to be re-written. It is not something I tell you the code changes to make. It will require that function to be completely rethought.
