Default USPS tracking link not working

Does anyone know if the USPS change the tracking link? When you use the default tracking link in Miva, it takes you to a USPS page that you have to enter the tracking number.

Hello,

When you enter a tracking number for an order the USPS link on the order status page should automatically be updated to use the tracking number.

USPS.com is redirecting http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInt...Num=%tracknum% to https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input; which then requires the user to enter the tracking number.

I think they just changed the page URL.

I use this link:

http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?sort_by=status&tracknums_displ ayed=1&TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&loc=en_US&InquiryNumb er1=%tracknum%&track.x=0&track.y=0

And it seems to have stopped working.

I have added bug #15407 for that issue. it does look like USPS just changed the URL for their tracking page.

You can manually change the shipping link URL in admin on the domain settings page.

Go to domain settings > Shipping Tracking Links tab. Click on the edit here button for USPS and replace http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/InterLabelInquiry.do?origTrackNum=%tracknum% with https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tLabels=%tracknum% and click update.

In VC's Order Status Manager, that URL doesn't work for the admin check link. The link admins click on to track an order. It works in the email templates.
https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction.action?tLabels=%tracknum%
On the USPS site, %tracknum% isn't replaced with the tracking code.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

So I figured out what was wrong for me and it's now working. When I cut the url from this forum '25' was inserted after the % characters -

https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfi...%25tracknum%25

I removed those and it's working

https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfi...els=%tracknum%

I got the link working for customers, but not for the admin.
