Deleting/updating coupons in Coupon Redemption

I have version 5.0700 of William Weilands coupon redemption. We are running a Groupon so i need to be able to import thousands of coupon codes.

The coupons never expire, but rather they change after a certain amount of time. So, for example, the coupon has a value of $59.98 for 3 months. If they do not use the coupon within 3 months, the value of the coupon drops to $29.

I need an efficient way of importing and updating the coupon codes, so as to modify them immediately. Otherwise I will have to go the module search for the code and change it manually, a practically impossible task.

I notice if I import a code that is currently in the system it won't update, it just skips it. There also does not appear to be a way of deleting all the codes at once and re-importing. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked out the new built in coupon features in Version 9? This should be generating the coupons and updating them much easier.

However with the Emporium Plus module should be able to do what you need by modifying the coupon database directly. This module stores its data in dbf files on the server.

They should be located in private/mivadata/Merchant5/s01/couponrd/couponrd.dbf
