Is it possible to search custom category fields with the Power Search module?

Not currently. It only indexes and search custom product fields.

Looks like it can search name, code, header and footers:

Optional Category Searching
You can include the following code on the srch page template, probably just above the footer, to display results of searching category names, codes, headers, and footers for the search terms.

Yeah I have seen and tried that but it is still not searching content in the header or footer (the prod_ctgy_hdft item is assigned to the SRCH and CTGY pages too). After doing a little more research, I noticed I can't get the header/footer content to show up on the category pages either, then noticed the "Header & Footer" tab is showing up twice on the category pages..... I think I am having other issues here! I am hoping once I get this duplicate field taken care of the search will work correctly. Thanks again Brennan!

Ok, the category header/footer issue has been resolved and now the category header and footer content is searchable. Now, for category search, is there a way to limit the search query to the content in the category "Header and Footer" ONLY and not the "name" or "code" fields?
