    Setting pages as inactive

I know that we can set a category and products as inactive so that they do not show on the site, but is there a way to have a page in Miva set as inactive so that it does not show up, but we are able to keep it?

You mean mark it as inactive but still have it show up in the store? That kind of contradicts itself. You either want it (keep it Active) or you don't (Inactive).

I want to have it inactive so that it can not be linked to, but I do not want to delete it as I may use it at a later date.

Then that's fine - simply set it as inactive. Items marked as inactive are NOT deleted from the store - you can always reactivate them at any time in the future if you want them to be active and accessible again.

unless they added something recently, you can't really make the page inactive...you could use an html comment on the page to hide its content...possibly use a meta refresh to a new page...or, what i would do is add an .htaccess rule for that page (include a bypass for your ip if you want to work on that page yourself).
