Up until now, we've used legacy order processing, and generated mailing labels outside of Miva using Endicia for Mac. We just upgraded to Miva v9, and are transitioning to using Miva's newer order processing systems. We want to print shipping labels within Miva using our Endicia account. We see that we have the Endicia shipping module "active", but don't know how to configure and implement it. Thanks for your help. |

Re: Endicia Miva integration
Have you followed the instructions in the Reference Guide: www.miva.com/referenceguide
They're the same for both PR8 and Version 9 (other than the UI looking different).

Re: Endicia Miva integration
BTW: Just so you know, using the built in endicia shipping in MM is a "giant step for mankind".
It really is so much better than using either endicia desktop software (dazzle) or even using shipworks (which required you to pay for an endicia account ALONG with the shipworks monthly subscrtion).
Basically, once miva came out with the endicia, we said goodbye to shipworks.Mark Romero

Re: Endicia Miva integration
I am moving my client over to Miva 9. They have a Endicia account for printing USPS labels. They say they do not have a USPS account. I activated the 'Endicia' module, but the USPS shipping options do not display in the shipping menu. I also have a UPS module activated.

Re: Endicia Miva integration
The endicia labels are an admin only feature for generating USPS shipping labels. Endicia does not provide rates to customers going though checkout.
If you want real-time USPS rates to display to customers during checkout you also need a USPS Webtools account and turn on the USPS shipping module in Miva.
Here is the signup form for the Webtools account:

Re: Endicia Miva integration
Just so they know...
they can get an account FREE with USPS webtools.
How were they getting USPS rates before moving them to MM9?
If they were using one of the flat rate type modules out there, they should still probably work.
Hope this helps.Mark Romero

Re: Endicia Miva integration
I setup a USPS WebTools account, but the USPS shipping options are still not showing up in the menu. Do I need to have USPS switch to a production server? Also under Endicia settings it states to 'Recredit Account'. UPS is displaying.
Thanks

Re: Endicia Miva integration
Yes. When you signed up for the USPS account you should have gotten an email. It has a phone number to call to get your account moved to the production server. You'll need to do that before you'll get rates (it is quick and takes about 5 minutes)
To generate labels you will need a separate account with endicia, where you pre-pay credits which are used to purchase labels.

For Endicia, can the labels print the new ORMD warning diamonds?
