There seems to be a renewed push towards integrating e-ccommerce stores within Facebook Pages. A few platforms (Shopify, Bigcommerce, Wix) currently have "store builder" apps that allow a merchant's catalog to be pushed up to FB, and have features like real time updates, visual organization, and Newsfeed "Buy Buttons". (http://www.websitebuilderexpert.com/...acebook-store/)
The FB mobile app now has a "Marketplace" tab (apparently this is just being tested, but my account is one that is now displaying it) which allows users to browse and buy from the stores associated with the FB Pages that they have "Liked". It's a very nice feature, and has been prominently displayed in the center of the app's bottom toolbar. (http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/29/1...pdate-shopping)
Are there any plans to revisit some of the Miva solutions to push stores onto FB? Facebook's new updates and testing seems to suggest they are encouraging this type of integration.
