I just updated a site with the code Matt posted 09-24-19, 03:55 PM. I'm now in that infernal holding pattern. It seems the last fix I used before trying the one from 09-24-19, 03:55 PM made things worse even though I checked numerous links with the "tester" and they passed at that time. Trying to stay ahead of Google seems more like doing battle with Don Quixote's windmills.

Bottom line - Google is lazy. It will start a validation, say everything is going good, then it will just go sit on the couch and say, hey you fail. Then you go look at what it says fails and it's not even the latest code changes...yeah Google wants us to do all the work for them...Leslie Kirk

Thanks Matt Zimmermann for spending the time to post some legacy updated code here. I appreciate that anyways. :)Colin Puttick
