Service Outage

Website back up again....down for over 1/2 hr! ...along with all MIVA phone lines. Never seen anything like it. Don't know how my server, which is outside Tampa, is connected to MIVA phone lines in San Diego. Very strange, hope MIVA puts out an explanation. Scary!

I'm still down for both website and email server

This is the first in all my years seeing something like this.

Some of our sites are back up. Others (unfortunately the big ones) still 502.

EDIT: I spoke too soon. They are all dead again. :(

Called in again, they said they are aware of it and trying to fix it but nothing further, no ETA. They mentioned storage controller latency, so I will wait to see the final result but none the less, very worrying.

Our website went down at 3:28 CDT, and is still down (almost 1 hour so far). I did open a high priority ticket with Miva and they said the following:

"This is a widespread outage that we are currently directing all of our efforts into investigating. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have a definitive answer as to what the cause is. We can only say that it is widespread and severe and does not affect only your store. We will follow-up as soon as possible when we receive a resolution."

Our last order was over an hour ago, not sure of exact time it all went down but sometime after 3:10 CST - Does anyone have an update from Miva?

I was in the process of shipping when it happened, so I saw it right away. I estimate is was about 3:20 CST, since it had been about 10 minutes when I first posted at 3:29 CST.

We called at 4:23 EST and it was down then. I'd say 4:20EST or so was a good estimate. We appear to be back up again here.

I just talked with Miva support and they are aware of the issue and they are working on it. Any updates will be posted at https://www.miva.com/status

I've been running Miva stores since 2001 and I can say this is very, very unusual. I'm sure if they have not responded to every query it's simply because they are working hard to correct the issue.

my email and admin are back up now, but site is returning this fatal error:

	Error Code:	MER-DBP-BSK-00001
	Description:	mysql_stmt_prepare: Table './sf_dev/s01_Baskets' is marked as crashed and should be repaired

anybody else in this boat?
