Shipping Question

I just set up a new Miva account and my only difficulty so far has been the shipping. It seems the miva shipping is only set up for flat rate shipping.

I want to have my shipping calculated. Is this possible?

There's a dozen different shipping modules that come standard with MIVA Merchant. If you haven't explored options other than "flat shipping" - start with the MIVA docs at http://www.miva.com/docs and see how you can configure other options that better suit your needs. And if you don't see exactly what you need - head on to http://www.designextend.com/page/miva/CTGY/shipping for 3rd party shipping modules you can add to your store.

MIVA Express does not allow any third party modules to be added.

However, under your Store's Shipping configuration, you do have other options built in.

Flat Rate, Price Table, Weight Table, UPS, USPS, any many more should be listed.

in Miva express the only option I am seeing under shipping configuration is flat rate. Am I missing something?

Since Express is only hosted by MIVA themselves, I would suggest opening a support ticket.

I have no idea how they configured this service. We have not been given any information on it, other than it is available.
