Links Script and/or on-page Search

I am working on a page to list all our pdf instructions (currently they instructions are on each product page). I built a category template the lists the products and the custom field to link the pdf instructions, but with this many, I need a way to search and/or filter just on this page. I tried to find either a php script or jquery script, but not much success.

Any suggesions?
