App recommendations for automatic order info export?

Hello!
We currently use an old, homemade solution where we pull order information from the confirmation emails. The data is automatically exported as different .csv's for a FedEx ship manager folder, and also a .csv to import into Excel for a different employee's workflow.
Is there any app that could be more reliable than the emails (Miva app using API?) that could automatically give us different formats of .csv for orders? I don't really want to maintain a homemade solution, and it doesn't have to be free.
The app store has a lot of random stuff. Any suggestions appreciated!

There are a number of 'Order Management" apps available for Miva. Here's a few:

But it sounds like you need more flexibility than "management".

Order data is available via CSV from the Data Management export routines...or is more specific data/formats are needed, you can use the Template Based Batch Reports (enter that in the Miva Admin's search box).

Several Miva developers/integrators could assist you in customizing these built in functions to possibly fit your needs.

I appreciate your suggestions. Our interest is in connecting Miva order information to our computer system. We did try a few Miva developers but with only partiat success. Several companies you mention are doing just what we are talking about for their own software packages. We have our own software that runs the company which we developed over the last 35 years. I haven't had time to investigate this but heard that 9.13 had some API functions that we might investigate.

Integration struggles usually boil down to communicating the specific details of how the target system (your internal system) accepts and uses the data from outside sources. A 'common' type of miscommunication is mistaking say, the external apps 'Record ID' for the Miva's 'Order ID'. Sometimes they are synonymous, many times they are not. It's all in how the external system USES that record.

That being said, it does sound like a well thought out custom solution would be best. As for 9.13, not sure there is anything specific in there that will alleviate the first hurdle.

We have owned Miva Synchro for a long time and use it to import orders to quickbooks but this is one of the items we are trying to do away with. I just looked through the installation instructions becuase this is basically what we want to do but I would like to get the output to a spreadsheet. Haved you ever heard of anyone dirverting the output to a spreadsheet file?

Not personally, that's what batch reports/export functions can do pretty easily though. Syncro is mostly there to make the process 'hands off'.
