No, since Empresa wont parse PHP.

      No.

We chose to go "off the shelf" with an established product so to speak.

Can I turn the question around on you guys?

Would you rather we put our Developer's resources into developing a forum in MIVA script when one already exists in PHP?

Our choice to use VBulletin was one based on available mods, functionality, and it being established.

      Thanks!

        .. php / mivascript

        Hi..

I would say that vBulletin is more powerful... but I cannot deny that php have much more resources :) ... But that didn't pushed me to develop in php so I guess the answer is: MivaScript is very powerful if you know how to use it :)

        Best regards,

          MIVA Script rules! :)

But, in the interest of time and available resources, we had to go with off-the-shelf for this one...

Of course not. Why reinvent the wheel? vBulletin is a feature-rich forum that has been around for years and is constantly being improved. It only makes sense to use it rather than start from scratch. IMHO. :) vBulletin is an excellent choice.
