Miva, Inc., creator of the Miva ecommerce platform for online business, was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego. The annual list of the Best Places to Work in San Diego was created by the San Diego Business Journal, Best Companies Group, and Kaiser Permanente. It is the second year in a row that Miva has been awarded by the SDBJ for workplace excellence.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in San Diego, benefiting the county's economy, workforce, and businesses. Miva, Inc. has been named one of this year's Best Places to Work in San Diego in the medium-sized business (50-249 US employees) category.
"We are deeply proud of this award, and view it as a salute to the employees of Miva," said Rick Wilson, President of Miva, Inc. "It's also a powerful statement of how important employee culture is to us." In celebration of the award, the company published a blog describing its workplace philosophy.
