Leading ecommerce software and hosting provider Miva Merchant has released an update to its core software product. Users of the Miva Merchant software can log into their store administration panel and stream the update to their store to take advantage of the new features offered.
One highly anticipated feature in the update is the new Mini Basket functionality, which allows shoppers to more easily and quickly review items placed in their shopping cart. Another new feature adds a "Request Support" button inside the admin panel, making technical assistance one click away. The new update also strengthens Miva Merchant's integration with UPS' latest API.
Aside from the above feature additions, Production Release 8 Update 7 also introduces over 150 bug fixes and behind-the-scenes patches aimed at streamlining the software performance, as well as security updates influenced by changes to Data Security Standard regulations. It is a timely update release, providing features merchants want and the security they need, as online sales begin to rise due to increased holiday shopping.
