The best business websites of 2015 have been named at the annual Blades Awards gala ceremony, hosted by top-selling ecommerce platform Miva, Inc. Demonstrating innovation in design, user experience, efficiency, branding, and customization, the Blades Awards-winning ecommerce sites were all launched in 2015, and built with Miva Merchant software.
Winners were selected from thousands of submissions, which had been narrowed down to 12 finalists prior to the awards ceremony. "This year's submissions were outstanding," says Rick Wilson, President of Miva, Inc. "The incredibly creative and innovative sites built with Miva this year demonstrate the leading edge of what's possible with modern ecommerce. We are thrilled to celebrate and encourage their excellence with the Blades Awards."
Blades Awards trophies were given to winners on Thursday, March 10, during a live ceremony at MivaCon 2016. This annual gathering of ecommerce store owners, web designers, software developers, and online business icons was held at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla. The 3-day conference has been compared to a "Ted Talk" for ecommerce, and the Blades Awards are an influential marker for emerging trends in the industry.
